Computer Know-It-Alls (better known as CKIA) began as a sole-proprietorship in 2013 servicing individuals in the Greater Seattle Area. In 2014 it expanded to provide services to small businesses. By 2015 it had developed tried and tested processes for tutoring, troubleshooting and repair of a broad range of electronics and devices, and began to branch out to service medium-sized businesses as well. Bursting at the seams to expand, it began to hire and train highly motivated contractors with particular skill sets in computers, IT, networks, general electronics, IT tutoring, troubleshooting, web development, programming, and law in order to provide an unparalleled professional service and experience to its Clients. CKIA now services individuals and small to medium-sized businesses both in person and using remote technology in WA, AZ, CA and CO.
We pride ourselves with building relationships with our clients. Here's a little more information about each of us so you can get to know us better!

Nicolas became fascinated with computers at the age of 7 when he discovered an MS-DOS personal computer at the university where his father taught biochemistry and nuclear chemistry. He was captivated by the command line interface (CLI) and the ability to get the computer to perform all manner of tasks and functions with the right combination of keystrokes. Around the same time, his family acquired an Apple Macintosh 128K; this was one of the first personal computers to have a (at the time) revolutionary graphical user interface (GUI) and peripherals interactions, things we take for granted today (e.g., opening folders and programs in a new "window" and using a mouse to select, open, and click and drag items). Mastering the CLI and GUI of Microsoft (Windows), Apple (Mac) and Linux machines, Nicolas realized that he could troubleshoot most any computer. His friends and family quickly picked up on this as well, and would come to him for all manner of assistance with their devices. Eventually this earned him the nickname "the computer know-it-all." This desire to be able to troubleshoot things didn't stop at computers, however: Nicolas made a point of becoming "fluent" with any electronic device he could get his hands on.
